El Wietzer Berg es una montaña de 102 m sobre el nivel del mar en el distrito de Celle. Se encuentra al suroeste de Müden y es un destino popular para excursiones en el paisaje predominantemente plano del Parque Natural Südheide. El Heidschnuckenweg lleva, viniendo de Wietzendorf, a través del Wietzer Berg hacia Müden. A la vista, al este se encuentra el Haußelberg, donde en 1820 el matemático Gauss, por encargo del entonces rey Jorge IV, realizó la medición del Reino de Hannover. Cerca de la cima, hay un monumento llamado Lönsstein en una zona de brezo, que recuerda al poeta de la Heide, Hermann Löns. Al pie de la montaña se encuentran cinco túmulos funerarios. Se cree que son de la tardía Edad de Piedra. Fueron construidos por familias de agricultores que habitaban aquí. Los muertos fueron enterrados con sus ropas y acompañados de ofrendas de hachas de combate y cálices adornados o similares. El escudo de Müden está influenciado por el Lönsstein en el Wietzer Berg.
