La torre de agua de Oldenburg-Donnerschwee es un edificio de 1896. Se encuentra en la calle Donnerschweer y se considera un símbolo del distrito de Donnerschwee. Junto con la planta de agua adyacente, forma un conjunto homogéneo en estilo arquitectónico historicista.
Los dos pisos inferiores del edificio circular de ladrillo están decorados con arcadas ciegas que recorren ambos pisos y cuentan con dos ventanas cada una. Por encima se encuentra una amplia franja enyesada que conduce a la parte más estrecha del tronco de la torre. Los tres pisos superiores del tronco están exteriormente separados por dos estrechas bandas de yeso. Ventanas redondas delgadas iluminan el interior. La transición del tronco a la cabeza saliente del edificio está enyesada. El revestimiento del depósito de agua presenta nuevamente mampostería vista, que está dividida por estrechas ventanas y un marco de arco en la parte superior.
