El castillo de Herzberg es un conjunto palaciego en Herzberg am Harz, en el distrito de Göttingen, Baja Sajonia. El actual conjunto de cuatro alas tiene su origen en el siglo XI como un castillo medieval. Después de un incendio en 1510, fue reconstruido como castillo. Con 180 habitaciones, es el mayor conjunto palaciego de Baja Sajonia, construido en estilo de entramado de madera. Debido a que estuvo en posesión de la familia noble de los Welfos durante más de 700 años, el complejo también se conoce como el castillo de los Welfos de Herzberg.
El castillo de Herzberg se encuentra en el Schlossberg, una colina boscosa inmediatamente al oeste del centro de la ciudad de Herzberg am Harz, que se sitúa en el borde suroeste de la cordillera de Harz. Al norte, el río Sieber fluye junto al castillo.
