Knock es el nombre del rincón más suroeste de la histórica región de Krummhörn en Frisia Oriental, a poco más de quince kilómetros al oeste del núcleo urbano de la ciudad portuaria de Emden. Administrativamente, esta tierra pertenece a la ciudad de Emden y, dentro de ella, al distrito de Wybelsum. "En la Knock" – como se dice comúnmente – se encuentran el sistema de compuertas y la planta de bombeo Knock en el gran Mahlbusen, así como un moderno radar y faro, además de un campamento y el Mahlbusen del Knockster Tief, utilizado como zona de deportes acuáticos.
