El fuerte Wilhelm, también conocido como fuerte William, fue un fuerte construido en 1834 por el Reino de Hanóver en la desembocadura del Weser. Su objetivo era proteger el primer puerto de Bremerhaven. Fue abandonado en 1866 y demolido en 1874.
En el contrato firmado en 1827 sobre la venta de una franja costera de 88,7 ha en la orilla derecha del Weser a Bremen para la construcción de un nuevo puerto, el Reino de Hanóver se reservó la soberanía militar sobre el área. Cuando en 1830 se completó el primer muelle del puerto, el viejo puerto, Hanóver ordenó la construcción de un fuerte en un área de 3 acres cerca de la esclusa del puerto en la desembocadura de la Geeste. Aquí ya había estado una batería costera durante la época de los franceses.
