Le fort Wilhelm, également appelé fort William, était un fort construit en 1834 par le royaume de Hanovre à l'embouchure de la Weser. Il devait protéger le premier port de Brême. Il a été abandonné en 1866 et démoli en 1874.
Dans le contrat signé en 1827 concernant la vente d'une bande côtière de 88,7 ha sur la rive droite de la Weser à Brême pour la construction d'un nouveau port, le royaume de Hanovre avait réservé la souveraineté militaire sur la zone. Lorsque le premier bassin du port – l'ancien port – a été achevé en 1830, Hanovre a ordonné la construction d'un fort sur une superficie de 3 acres près de l'écluse du port à l'embouchure de la Geeste. Une batterie côtière avait déjà été présente ici pendant la période française.
