Es responsable de la protección contra incendios y catástrofes de la ciudad de Minden, que abarca 101 km2 y tiene alrededor de 82,000 habitantes. Los miembros profesionales y voluntarios del cuerpo de bomberos llevan a cabo alrededor de 13,000 intervenciones anualmente con sus 87 vehículos.
