El molino de los monjes es uno de los molinos de agua más antiguos de Brandeburgo. Se encuentra en el distrito de Schildow-Mönchmühle, en el municipio de Mühlenbecker Land. La rueda de agua es parte del escudo del municipio.
Alrededor del año 1230, monjes cistercienses fundaron el molino de los monjes. Primero se construyó una presa de aproximadamente 100 m de largo y 20 m de ancho. Se movieron alrededor de 15,000 m3 de tierra para finalmente crear una altura de caída de agua de 4 m y suficiente energía hidráulica para un funcionamiento constante del molino. Esto fue un logro excepcional para la época.
