Zepernick es una localidad del municipio de Panketal, en Brandeburgo, que se encuentra directamente en el borde noreste de Berlín. En el marco de la reforma territorial municipal, Zepernick se unió el 26 de octubre de 2003 con Schwanebeck para formar el nuevo municipio de Panketal. A finales de 2008, Panketal tenía 19.167 habitantes.
Ya desde el Neolítico se pueden documentar los primeros indicios de asentamiento. La primera mención documental de Zepernick, que en ese tiempo se llamaba Cepernik, data del año 1289. Otro documento es el acta de 1346 del prebendado bernáu Gerwinius sobre una donación de Zepernick a la iglesia de Bernau. En 1375, Zepernick fue registrado en el libro de tierras del emperador Carlos IV con 52 yuntas. En 1466, Benedikt von Hoppenrade cedió sus derechos señoriales al cabildo de Cóln.
