Zepernick is een deelgemeente van de Brandenburgse gemeente Panketal, die direct aan de noordwestelijke rand van Berlijn ligt. In het kader van de gemeentelijke herindeling werd Zepernick op 26 oktober 2003 samengevoegd met Schwanebeck tot de nieuwe gemeente Panketal. Panketal had eind 2008 19.167 inwoners.
Al uit de jongste tijd zijn de eerste bewoningssporen aan te tonen. De eerste schriftelijke vermelding van Zepernick, toen nog Cepernik, dateert uit het jaar 1289. Een ander document is de akte van 1346 van de Bernauer proost Gerwinius over een schenking van Zepernick aan de Bernauer kerk. In 1375 werd Zepernick in het landboek van keizer Karel IV genoteerd met 52 hoeven. In 1466 schonk Benedictus van Hoppenrade zijn landheerrechten aan het Cöllner Domstift.
