El lugar Löpten, con aproximadamente 26,13 km² y 329 habitantes, es parte del municipio de Groß Köris en el distrito de Dahme-Spreewald en Brandeburgo.
La parte del municipio está situada al sureste del centro y al sur del distrito de Klein Köris. Al noreste se encuentra el asentamiento Neubrück. Siguiendo en el sentido de las agujas del reloj, se encuentran el distrito de Hermsdorf del municipio de Münchehofe, Märkisch Buchholz y Halbe al sur y – separados físicamente por la autopista federal 13 – la ciudad de Teupitz. A través de la comarca, en la parte oriental, discurre en dirección norte-sur la carretera federal 179. A Löpten pertenecen los asentamientos Forsthaus Löpten, Hammer, Löpten-Nord y Löpten-Süd. Al norte, el monumento natural Siebsluch limita con Löpten.
