Tzschelln es una antigua aldea en la Alta Lusacia, a 10 km al suroeste de Weißwasser. El lugar, situado junto al Spree entre Neustadt y Boxberg, fue devastado en 1979 debido a la extracción de lignito por la mina a cielo abierto de Nochten. 276 personas fueron reubicadas. La mayoría de ellas se trasladó a Weißwasser y Schleife.
El lugar, que siempre perteneció al señorío de Muskau, tuvo diversas denominaciones. En 1453 fue registrado bajo el nombre de Czhillen, en 1479 como Tschellen, en 1513 como Schellin y Schelm, en 1704 como Zscheln, en 1791 como Zschellen y en 1831 como Tschelln.
