Hainitz, en sorabo superior Hajnicy, es una aldea que pertenece al núcleo de la comunidad de Großpostwitz en Sajonia.
Hainitz se encuentra al norte de Großpostwitz a lo largo de la carretera federal 96 en la región montañosa de Lusacia. El lugar consta de dos partes de asentamiento separadas por el Spree. El más viejo caserío agrícola Alt-Hainitz está al este de la carretera federal, al pie de la montaña Thromberg de 431,9 m de altura, en una cresta entre los cauces de las aguas de Cosul y las aguas de Hainitz, que aquí desembocan en el Spree. Al oeste de Alt-Hainitz, en la región del Spree, se encuentra la fábrica de hilado de lino con las aldeas de trabajadores Spreetal y Fabrikstraße.
