Gröditz, sorbio, es un lugar en el este del distrito de Bautzen en Sajonia oriental y forma parte de la ciudad de Weißenberg desde 1994. El lugar se encuentra al borde del campo de Oberlausitz, una zona fértil y montañosa entre montañas y llanuras.
Gröditz se sitúa a unos 15 kilómetros al este de la gran ciudad de Bautzen, en el borde norte del campo de Oberlausitz, donde este se encuentra con la llanura. Debido a su ubicación expuesta a unos 200 m sobre el nivel del mar, el lugar y sobre todo su campanario son visibles desde lejos. Al sureste del lugar fluye el agua de Löbau, que ha formado aquí un valle de ruptura, la llamada escala de Gröditz.
