La iglesia de Niederoderwitz es una de las dos iglesias del pueblo en la comunidad de Oderwitz en Sajonia. Es la sede de la comunidad evangélico-luterana de Oderwitz-Mittelherwigsdorf y fue construida a principios del siglo XVIII en estilo barroco, siendo una de las iglesias más grandes de Lusacia.
A finales del siglo XVII, la antigua iglesia de Niederoderwitz se volvió demasiado pequeña para la creciente comunidad. Por esta razón, y debido a daños irreparables en el edificio, en 1717 se tomó la decisión de construir una nueva iglesia justo al lado de la antigua. El patronato de esta nueva construcción fue asumido por Otto Ludwig von Kanitz, Hanns Adolph von Riedinger y el consejo de la ciudad de Zittau.
