El aeropuerto de Borkum es el aeródromo de la ciudad y de la isla del mar del Norte de Borkum en Frisia Oriental.
El aeropuerto fue construido en 1927. Inicialmente sirvió para la aviación civil. Así, una aerolínea neerlandesa aterrizó aquí entre las rutas Ámsterdam-Estocolmo. El aeropuerto está situado en la isla en la zona de Ostland. Ostland fue utilizado en gran medida para fines militares por la marina desde el Imperio. Con la rearmamentización del estado nacionalsocialista, el aeropuerto fue asumido por la Luftwaffe de la Wehrmacht, que estableció un comando de aeropuerto. Desde junio hasta septiembre de 1941, aquí estuvo estacionado el 1./JG 52, y desde febrero hasta marzo de 1942, el 1./JG 1. También había escuadrones de entrenamiento aquí.
