La estación de tren Krefeld-Uerdingen es la estación regional de la ciudad independiente de Uerdingen hasta 1929. Se encuentra en el noreste de Krefeld, cerca de la frontera con Duisburg, en el distrito de Rheinhausen.
La estación fue inaugurada el 29 de septiembre de 1849 bajo el nombre de Uerdingen. A partir del 5 de octubre de 1849, toda la línea de tren desde Uerdingen hasta Homberg y desde 1852 hasta 1885 por el entonces trayecto Ruhrort–Homberg fue transitada; esta línea se cerró en 1961. Desde el 1 de septiembre de 1866, Uerdingen también fue una parada en la línea de tren Osterath–Dortmund Sur desde Meerbusch-Osterath hasta Essen y desde 1874 hasta Dortmund, inicialmente a través del trayecto Rheinhausen-Hochfeld, y a partir de 1873 luego a través del puente ferroviario Duisburg-Hochfelder.
