La mina Warndt era una mina de carbón de piedra en el distrito de Karlsbrunn, perteneciente a Großrosseln, que fue construida por Saarbergwerke AG. Era la mina más joven de la región de Saar.
La mina se encuentra en medio de Warndt, en la L276 entre los distritos de Karlsbrunn y Dorf im Warndt del municipio de Großrosseln. Aquí se encuentran las capas del cabrestante de Merlebach en la cuenca de carbono de Saar y la cuenca de carbón de Lorena. La mina Warndt disponía de reservas de carbón explotables de alrededor de 190 millones de toneladas, calculadas hasta una profundidad de −1100 metros NN. El grosor de las capas variaba entre uno y seis metros.
