La Schwarza es un afluente izquierdo de aproximadamente 53 kilómetros de longitud del Saale en Turingia, Alemania. Fue el paisaje fluvial del año 2006/2007.
El río nace cerca de Scheibe-Alsbach, a 250 metros al noroeste del Rennsteig, a una altitud de 717 m sobre el nivel del mar. El agua de la fuente de Schwarza surge desde gran profundidad a través de una fractura entre arenisca y pizarra con una temperatura constante de 6 grados Celsius. Fue encauzada en el año 1855.
