Vetschau es un pequeño pueblo en el municipio alemán de Aquisgrán, en el estado de Renania del Norte-Westfalia. Forma parte del distrito de Laurensberg y cuenta con aproximadamente 100 casas. No está lejos de la frontera neerlandesa en el cruce de Vetschau en la A4 alemana, que corresponde a la A76 neerlandesa.
Vetschau es un típico pueblo-lineal con muchas granjas antiguas que surgieron a lo largo de un camino medieval de conexión entre Aquisgrán y Heerlen, donde este cruzaba la carretera hacia Bocholtz. Se encuentra en la parte rural y occidental de Aquisgrán, en la llanura al pie de la montaña Vetschauer. Está aproximadamente a un kilómetro al noroeste de Laurensberg y, aunque formalmente se considera parte de este distrito, limita al este directamente con Richterich. En las proximidades de Vetschau nace el Amstelbach.
