La iglesia menonita en Friedrichstadt, en Schleswig, se encuentra como una ampliación del museo de la ciudad, Alte Münze. La iglesia, ubicada en Mittelburgwall, es también utilizada hoy por la comunidad danesa. Justo al lado de la iglesia se encuentra un cementerio menonita.
Ya dos años después de la fundación del lugar por el duque Gottorfs, Federico III, en 1621, los menonitas se establecieron en la ciudad. Vinieron como refugiados por motivos de fe de los Países Bajos y, en parte, de la cercana Eiderstedt, donde ya existían comunidades desde 1560. Junto con protestantes luteranos, remonstrantes, católicos y judíos, formaron la nueva población y convirtieron a Friedrichstadt temprano en un lugar de tolerancia religiosa en un entorno predominantemente luterano.
