Varenholz es una localidad del municipio de Kalletal en el distrito de Lippe, en Renania del Norte-Westfalia, Alemania.
La localidad se encuentra en la parte superior del valle del Weser entre Vlotho y Rinteln, en las praderas del sur al pie de las montañas del Lipper. El Weser solía fluir directamente junto a la localidad, pero su curso se ha desplazado hacia el norte. En este punto, el Weser se puede cruzar en un ferry de cable hacia Veltheim.
