Aschwarden es una localidad del municipio de Schwanewede en el distrito de Osterholz en Baja Sajonia. Es uno de los lugares centrales de la marcha de Osterstede. La localidad incluye las áreas de Bruch y Hassel.
Aschwarden se mencionó por primera vez en documentos en 1105. La antigua iglesia fortificada “tom Broke” en Kirchenfleth en la localidad de Aschwarden-Bruch, la actual iglesia de San Nicolás, se construyó alrededor de 1235 y fue restaurada entre 1956 y 1960. En el año 1800, se construyó en Aschwarden un molino de viento de postes por el molinero Hayer de Hagen.
