Hinojares es una villa y municipio español de la provincia de Jaén, en la comunidad autónoma de Andalucía. Perteneciente a la comarca de Sierra de Cazorla, limita con los municipios de Pozo Alcón, Huesa y Quesada. Por su término discurren los ríos Guadiana Menor, Ceal, Turrillas.El municipio hinojariense comprende los núcleos de población de Hinojares —capital municipal— y Cuenca.
