Rubí es un municipio español de la provincia de Barcelona, situado en la comarca del Vallés Occidental, en Cataluña . Se encuentra situado en el valle de la riera de Rubí, y limita al norte con Tarrasa, al este con San Quirico de Tarrasa al oeste con Castellbisbal y Ullastrell, y al sur con San Cugat del Vallés. Con más de 78 000 habitantes, Rubí es la cuarta ciudad del Vallés Occidental en población, después de las dos cocapitales y San Cugat; la undécima de la provincia de Barcelona, la decimoquinta de Cataluña y la nonagésimo tercera de España.
