Estos jardines son un lugar ideal para descansar y desconectar del bullicio de la ciudad. Allí los niños pueden jugar tranquilamente al aire libre y los adultos sentarse tanto en la hierba como en los bancos a disfrutar un rato entre vegetación. Dentro del recinto también encontramos algunos edificios de estilo modernista la mayoría, construidos en un principio con fines sanitarios, aunque actualmente algunos de ellos pertenecen a la Universidad de Barcelona o de la administración.
