La Turia es una avenida urbana en el centro de la ciudad de Valencia, situada en la orilla derecha del antiguo cauce del río Turia, entre el puente de la Real y el puente de las Flores. Comienza justo al final de la calle del Pintor López y termina en la plaza de América. Se le llama Turia porque en la intersección con la calle de la Justícia se encontraba la ciudadela de Valencia, una fortaleza militar con la tarea de proteger la ciudad de posibles invasiones, construida en 1574.
