El Motín de Aranjuez ocurrió entre el 17 y el 18 de marzo de 1808 por las calles de esta localidad madrileña. Se desencadenó debido a varias causas motivadas por la política de Manuel Godoy, secretario de Estado de Carlos IV. Los contemporáneos mitificaron el suceso, situando el 19 de marzo, que simbolizaba la caída del denostado Godoy, como punto de partida de la «Revolución Española».[1]
