El puerto de Guadarrama, que culmina en el Alto del León, es un paso de montaña español, que sirve para atravesar la sierra de Guadarrama , comunicando la provincia de Segovia y la Comunidad de Madrid por la carretera de La Coruña .Este puerto tiene una altitud de 1511 metros en la carretera nacional VI. Está entre la localidad de San Rafael y la de Guadarrama , y orográficamente entre los picos de Cabeza Líjar y La Peñota , en la ladera sur del Cerro de la Sevillana .
