La Casa Petra de la Riva es un palacio de ciudad que fue residencia de Diego López de Morla y Virués , Conde de Villacreces, quien más tarde fundaría la Caja de Ahorros de Jerez en 1834.
La fachada neoclásica está flanqueada por dos pares de columnas jónicas que sostienen un artístico balcón principal. Dos estatuas que representan a dos soldados es el principal motivo ornamental.
Tras el portal y verja de hierro forjado se accede a un patio sombreado y fresco, lleno de viñas y que, como muchos palacios de Jerez, sólo tiene columnas a la derecha.
Aunque la construcción data de una época anterior, la fachada es una aportación de principios del siglo XX.
