Situada en pleno centro de la ciudad, esta iglesia parroquial de Santa María de Gracia es majestuosa y catedralicia. Es un hermoso templo de estilo renacentista .
Es un bello ejemplo de la arquitectura andaluza de la segunda mitad del siglo XVI. En el interior, llaman la atención los impresionantes lienzos del retablo mayor .
En 1638 y especialmente en 1773 la iglesia fue dañada por terremotos.
