Esta plaza , antiguamente llamada Pérez del Pulgar, es una pintoresca plaza donde se encuentra la Iglesia de San Miguel, construida en 1538 sobre la antigua mezquita, de la que aún se conserva un precioso aljibe.
En la plaza también hay un crucero de piedra del siglo XVII y la casa morisca del corraló.
La Casa de la Lona también bordeaba la plaza. También puedes acceder al Palau de Daralhorra desde el Callejón del Gallo. Si caminas por el callejón de las Vistillas de San Miguel, llegarás a la Puerta de los Leones, la Bab-al Asad.
Hoy la plaza es un lugar de encuentro y lugar de copas y tapas para muchos granadinos y para la gente que se acerca a la plaza para disfrutar de un domingo soleado.
