This square , formerly called Pérez del Pulgar, is a picturesque square where the Church of San Miguel is located, built in 1538 over the old mosque, of which a beautiful cistern still survives.
There is also a 17th-century stone cross in the square and the Moorish house in the corraló.
The Casa de la Lona also bordered the square. You can also access the Palau de Daralhorra from Callejón del Gallo. If you walk through the alley of Vistillas de San Miguel, you will come to the Lion Gate, the Bab-al Asad.
Today the square is a meeting place and place for drinks and tapas for many Granada residents and people who come to the square to enjoy a sunny Sunday.
