Cette place , anciennement appelée Pérez del Pulgar, est une place pittoresque où se trouve l'église de San Miguel, construite en 1538 sur l'ancienne mosquée, dont il reste encore une belle citerne.
Il y a aussi une croix en pierre du XVIIe siècle sur la place et la maison mauresque du corraló.
La Casa de la Lona bordait également la place. Vous pouvez également accéder au Palau de Daralhorra depuis Callejón del Gallo. Si vous vous promenez dans l'allée des Vistillas de San Miguel, vous arriverez à la Porte du Lion, la Bab-al Asad.
Aujourd'hui, la place est un lieu de rencontre et un lieu de boissons et de tapas pour de nombreux habitants de Grenade et des personnes qui viennent sur la place pour profiter d'un dimanche ensoleillé.
