La Avinguda de Los Callejones recién comenzó a desarrollarse a finales del siglo XX.
Pero algunos elementos urbanos importantes ya no existen: el primer cine de verano en Ubrique (el Avenida), otro cine más moderno (el Alcázar, que luego se convirtió en teatro y bar), la estación de autobuses de Los Amarillos (compañía sevillana en Ubrique para llevar pasajeros en esta ciudad, Cádiz, Jerez, Ronda...) o en una gasolinera .
Por suerte, hay otros dos puntos de referencia que encantan a los locales: las fuentes de Los Callejones y La Esperanza, al principio y al final de la calle.
