La Ruta del Rey Pelayo en Asturias, cerca de Cangas de Onís, desafía a los más valientes con sus 23.5 kilómetros de recorrido extremadamente difícil. A medida que se avanza por el sendero, se cruzan 1251 metros de desnivel, ofreciendo vistas espectaculares del Río Sella y la Iglesia de la Santa Cruz. Este recorrido en forma de lazo, bien señalizado, se disfruta en un entorno mayormente libre de tráfico y en su mayoría sin pavimentar, lo que permite conectar con la naturaleza en cada paso.
