Este museo fue creado en la casa restaurada donde Jean RACINE pasó su infancia. A los 3 años, huérfano de padre y madre, fue acogido por su abuela, Marie DESMOULINS, quien vivió allí.
En un entorno moderno, se puede descubrir un excepcional conjunto de documentos relacionados con Jean RACINE y su obra.

* cartas, retratos, grabados
* ediciones originales
* ediciones recientes francesas y extranjeras
* sellos con la imagen de Jean RACINE
* la hermosa estatua de mármol, obra de David D'ANGERS.
También se pueden encontrar numerosos elementos de la historia de La Ferté Milon (documento con la firma de Enrique IV, pinturas de Corot, Lavieille...)
