El castillo de Salgas se encuentra cerca de Vebron, en Lozère, y está declarado monumento histórico desde 1991.
El castillo se menciona por primera vez en 1312. No queda nada del castillo medieval, que debió de ser completamente transformado en los siglos XVI o XVII. A partir del siglo XVIII se realizaron modificaciones. Las realizadas en el siglo XIX contribuyeron a acentuar el aspecto del siglo XVIII, con la adición de frontones en las fachadas principales y el balcón del sur, la transformación de la puerta de entrada, la sustitución de los tejados de pizarra por pizarras, la creación de tejados abuhardillados con buhardillas, la construcción de la torre noroeste, etc.
El mismo planteamiento se aplicó al exterior. El castillo presenta un aspecto residencial que ya no tiene referencias militares o defensivas.
