El castillo de Betz está situado en la comuna de Betz-le-Château, en el departamento de Indre-et-Loire. El castillo está inscrito en el registro de monumentos históricos desde el 21 de abril de 1937.
Gilles de Betz, primer señor conocido, fue sin duda el constructor de la fortaleza. Su familia mantuvo el señorío de Betz hasta 1503, año del matrimonio de Renée de Betz con François Couhé de Lusignan, quien así se convirtió en señor de Betz. Los Lusignan poseyeron la tierra hasta principios del siglo XVIII.
