BETASOM fue una base de submarinos establecida en Burdeos, Francia, por la Regia Marina italiana durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Desde dicha base, los submarinos italianos participaron en la batalla del Atlántico desde 1940 hasta 1943 formando parte de la campaña emprendida por el Eje contra los Aliados.[1]
