El Château de la Muette, construido en 1912 cerca del Bois de Boulogne, es la sede de la OCDE. Encargada por el barón Henri de Rothschild, esta obra maestra del arquitecto Lucien Hesse sustituye al antiguo castillo que ya no existe. El escudo de armas de los Rothschild adorna el frontón, mientras que la fachada está decorada con 24 esculturas que representan alegorías y máscaras teatrales. Los jardines, rediseñados en 2009-2010, albergan 25.000 plantas, entre ellas 139 majestuosos árboles.
