Propiedad del Observatorio del “espacio litoral”,
este entorno protegido de 65 hectáreas y de paisajes variados (altos acantilados, zonas de brezo, pastos naturales, bosquecitos y vergel de
conservación de variedades autóctonas), permite remontar en el tiempo hasta 80 milliones de años, época durante la cuál, el mar ocupaba todavía el lugar actual de la cadena pirenaica.
Verdadera reserva biológica, está prohibido coger plantas, las B.T.T. y los perros, incluso atados.
Durante todo el año, el CPIE litoral vasco programa diversas exposiciones y actividades (visitas guiadas,talleres de naturaleza para voluntarios, cursillos para escolares…) en el parque y en la granja Larretxea, a la entrada del Domaine.
