Construida entre 1730 y 1747, durante los reinados de Francisco III y Estanislao, esta iglesia está declarada Monumento Histórico desde 1926. Sustituye a la vez a la antigua iglesia de los Chanoines réguliers de l'Abbaye Saint-Rémy, fundada en 999, y a la iglesia parroquial de Saint-Jacques, del siglo XIV, que se encontraba a 200 metros, en la plaza Saint-Jacques, donde aún puede verse una bella estatua del santo peregrino en la esquina de una casa. El órgano de Saint-Jacques, declarado Monumento Histórico en 1986, tiene la particularidad de estar completamente oculto por una magnífica decoración diseñada por el arquitecto Emmanuel Héré.
Visitas guiadas gratuitas los sábados y domingos hasta el 21 de septiembre, de 14:00 a 17:00 horas. Iglesia cerrada en temporada baja.
