Instalado junto al monte Saint-Clair sobre una terraza dominando el cementerio marítimo y el Mediterráneo, se encuentra el museo Paul Valéry, que disfruta de una situación excepcional.
Junto a las colecciones de Bellas Artes, que cuentan con más de 700 pinturas y mil diseños, hay que sumar dos patrimonios específicos: el fondo Paul Valéry y una colección de artes y tradiciones populares.
En los jardines que lo rodean se celebran actividades al aire libre: una programación multidisciplinar que ofrece conferencias, encuentros literarios, poesía, veladas de canto y teatro de bolsillo, estrechamente relacionadas con las colecciones del museo o incluso con la identidad mediterránea de la ciudad.
La cafetería-restaurante del museo dispone de una terraza a la sombra sobre el cementerio marítimo, el rompeolas, la entrada del puerto y el mar Mediterráneo (Brasserie des Arts: +33 4 99 02 36 92).
