"Este es el paso que el pequeño Meurthe hizo para salir de la montaña. Este desfiladero de 4 km de longitud está encerrado entre dos montañas de más de 1000 metros de altitud. La sinuosa carretera discurre a lo largo del río, entre bosques de hayas y abetos. El paisaje es extrañamente fantástico, incluso misterioso. En algunos lugares, los rayos del sol se filtran a través de las agujas resinosas para dar paso a una luz suave. No hace mucho tiempo, había leñadores, schlitters, aserraderos y marcaireries en plena actividad. En la Glacière, incluso con el calor, sentirá el frescor casi permanente de este lugar.
El acceso a este desfiladero se realiza desde Ban-Sur-Meurthe-Clefcy.
