El castillo de La Chapelle d'Angillon es uno de los ejemplos más antiguos de arquitectura militar en el Cher, con su torre del homenaje construida en 1050. Este castillo fue la residencia de los príncipes de Boisbelle y en él vivieron dos constructores de catedrales. En este lugar, el recuerdo del Gran Meaulnes y de la princesa de Cleves aún flota. También se dice que el gran Sully hizo su reino aquí. El museo contiguo al castillo presenta un estudio de la vida, las obras y los viajes de Alain-Fournier y la explosión artística de principios del siglo XX. Se exponen maquetas y fotos de recuerdo.
