La Maison Luc es una gran mansión, de diseño clásico, construida por Jacques-René Hermant para Victor Luc, uno de los hermanos Luc, que dirigía una curtiduría y una fábrica de extractos de tanino
En 1900, los dos hermanos compraron dos parcelas contiguas para construir sus propias casas: sólo queda la de Victor Luc.
Gentil-Bourdet, eminente ceramista, creó una extraordinaria escalera de piedra arenisca flameada, única en la arquitectura Art Nouveau de Nancy. Además, Jacques Gruber suministró un magnífico techo de cristal, "Paysage des Vosges", y Louis Majorelle las chimeneas de los salones.
