Pintor, grabador, dibujante, escritor y compositor, Michel Ciry (1919-2018) creó un museo justo antes de morir en su pueblo de adopción, Varengeville-sur-Mer, en 1964. Sus lienzos, a menudo de grandes dimensiones, se exponen en un espacio contemporáneo que se abre al jardín, casi incitando al visitante a la meditación.
Pintor de la espiritualidad, la luz y el color, también pintó muchos paisajes durante sus viajes y se interesó por diversos temas de la "commedia dell'arte".
Además de su colección permanente, el museo ofrece varias exposiciones temporales de artistas invitados, visitas guiadas, talleres y conciertos en colaboración con Les Musicales de Normandie y la Academia Bach.
A lo largo de la temporada se organizarán varias visitas guiadas al museo, dirigidas por la guía Laura Dubuc (aprox. 1 hora, incluida en la entrada al museo):
