En el siglo XI, ya existía una iglesia cuyos crucero y cabecera tenían la amplitud de la iglesia actual. La primera remodelación con sillares tuvo lugar en el siglo XII. En ese momento, la iglesia sólo tenía una nave. Durante el siglo XVI, se le añade una nave lateral al sur con tres contrafuertes. En 1765, se contruye un nuevo campanario incorporado al portal romano. De nuevo, remodelan la iglesia en el siglo XIX. El ábside tiene un tramo a la derecha y también lleva unos capiteles como el arco triunfal: a la izquierda, Daniel bendiciendo a los leones y a la derecha, felinos escupiendo roleos.
