En Martignas-sur-Jalle, los amantes de la naturaleza disfrutan de paseos por las orillas del Jalles, ideales para descubrir la particular flora y fauna de este lugar protegido clasificado como Natura 2000.
Desde el emplazamiento del Moulin Bidon, llamado así por el antiguo molino de agua de la familia Bidon, se pueden recorrer los senderos y, gracias a las tablas de pato, mantener los pies secos, incluso en las zonas húmedas. Le esperan una zona de picnic, dos boleras, un juego de damas gigante y una exposición sobre la biodiversidad.
Cerca de allí, en el parque de ocio Colette Besson, se acaba de inaugurar un flamante observatorio astronómico.
